Who runs the game

Forest Spirits is a browser game by Andrew Graviton (Andrii Babych). Contact: andygraviton@gmail.com. This policy covers accounts, ranked duels and tournaments on andrew-graviton.com. Updated: 12 September 2026.

Google and Facebook sign-in

When you choose an available social sign-in method, the provider authenticates you. We use your provider-specific account identifier and display name to create or find your game account. When available, your Google profile photo is used as your public game avatar. You can upload a replacement photo or choose a forest icon. Uploaded photos are cropped and resized in your browser before storage; the original file is not uploaded. We do not request your email, contacts, messages, Google Drive or Facebook posts. Your Google or Facebook password is never sent to our game. Access tokens are used during sign-in and are not saved in your game account.

Game account and public profile

We store your game identifier, chosen name and forest avatar, rating, wins, games, registration date, tournament entries and match results. Your game name, avatar, rating and competition results are visible to other players; winners appear in tournament history. Local password accounts store a salted password hash and a hashed recovery code.

Cookies and technical data

A necessary session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. A short-lived cookie protects social sign-in. Browser storage remembers language and game preferences. Hosting and security operations can process IP addresses and request information, including to limit abuse. The site uses Render hosting and Google Fonts; social sign-in contacts the provider you choose.

Use, sharing and retention

We use account information to authenticate players, run matches and tournaments, calculate ratings and support accounts. We do not sell Google profile data or use it for advertising. Service providers process information needed to operate their services. Account and competition records remain while the account and game history are maintained; contact us to request access, correction or deletion.

Delete your data

Write to andygraviton@gmail.com with the subject “Forest Spirits — delete account”, your in-game name and sign-in method. Do not send passwords, recovery codes or access tokens. We will arrange an ownership check before deleting or anonymising your account and associated personal data; records required by law may be retained. You can also disconnect the game in your Google or Facebook account settings; disconnecting alone does not delete the game account.
